With any single transaction there may be multiple legs that have to be settled atomically. By utilizing TapestryX Genome scripts, standardized linked transaction types can be grouped for simultaneous processing. The simplest example would be a payment for goods (or a financial security).
A further layer would be a transaction that is set up to settle previously recorded obligations (i.e. payables and receivables) that would be reversed upon settlement. TapestryX provides the flexibility to configure the layered transactions during network setup or after it goes live, if and when the types of transactions expand.
